New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Bruton Panthers (Williamsburg, VA), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, New Kent improves its record to 12-1 on the season. The Trojans host Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA) to face the Rams in a Bay Rivers test on Thursday, September 26. The Rams go into the test with a record of 2-12. Lafayette lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Poquoson (Poquoson, VA)

With their 3-0 sweep of the Panthers of Class 2 Bruton HS, the Lady Trojans extended their winning streak to 11 matches, upping their overall record to 12-1 and Bay Rivers record to 8-1.
