Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Central Valley Bears (Spokane Valley, WA), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Ferris improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Saxons travel to Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA) to face the Bullpups in a 3A/4A Greater Spokane test on Tuesday, October 1. The Bullpups go into the test with a record of 14-2. Gonzaga Prep won 3-0 in their recent league test against Cheney (Cheney, WA)

The Bears now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Valley for a non-league test on Monday, September 30. Central Valley will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Clarkston (Clarkston, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-0.
