In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Meridian Wildcats volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Choctaw County Chargers.

The Wildcats (8-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Choctaw County (Butler, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-10 record. In their last challenge, Choctaw County was nudged by Meridian (Meridian, MS), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chargers play the Starkville Yellowjackets (Starkville, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Choctaw County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 16-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Germantown (Madison, MS).
