The Doyle Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Springfield Bulldogs to 0 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hammond for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 25. Doyle will play a Tornadoes team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Loranger (Loranger, LA). The Tornadoes record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Springfield drops to 3-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA) to play the Falcons in a Division IV District 7 outing on Thursday, September 26.
