The East Carteret Mariners volleyball squad (Beaufort, NC), dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Northside - Pinetown Panthers (Pinetown, NC)

With the win, Northside - Pinetown improves its record to 11-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Southside (Chocowinity, NC) to encounter the Seahawks in a Coastal Plains 1A/2A battle on Thursday, September 26. The Seahawks go into the battle with a record of 4-10. Southside lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC)

The Mariners now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jones for a Coastal Plains 1A/2A battle on Thursday, September 26. East Carteret will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 3-9.
