North Carolina High School Volleyball - Goldsboro over Eastern Wayne

In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Goldsboro Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Eastern Wayne Warriors.

With the win, Goldsboro improves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Beddingfield (Wilson, NC) to encounter the Bruins in a Neuse Six 2A battle on Thursday, September 26. The Bruins go into the battle with a record of 1-9. Beddingfield lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC)

The Warriors now own a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Princeton for a Neuse Six 2A battle on Thursday, September 26. Eastern Wayne will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over North Johnston (Kenly, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-4.
