Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Edison Golden Bears (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Highlands Owls (San Antonio, TX), observed Edison's volleyball team hold off Highlands by a count of 3-2.

The Golden Bears (13-14) will now prepare for their contest against Burbank (San Antonio, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 5A Region IV District 27 contest with a 26-6 record. In their last contest, Burbank was tipped by Seguin (Seguin, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Owls battle the MacArthur Brahmas (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 27. Highlands will attempt to move on its 13-14 season record. The Brahmas enter the contest with a 16-13 record after their 3-0 league win over South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX).
