In Tuesday's league challenge, the host William Byrd Terriers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Fleming Colonels.
The Terriers (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Cavaliers enter the Blue Ridge challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, Lord Botetourt beat Staunton River (Moneta, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Colonels meet the Martinsville Bulldogs (Martinsville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 30. Fleming will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA).
