North Carolina High School Volleyball - Forbush tips West Wilkes

September 24, 2024: East Bend, NC 27018

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) and the visiting West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC), observed Forbush's volleyball team hold off West Wilkes by a count of 3-2.

The Falcons (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Greyhounds enter the Foothills 2A contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, North Surry was tipped by East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Blackhawks battle the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) in a Foothills 2A contest, on Tuesday, October 1. West Wilkes will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record.
