Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Fort Elliott Cougars (Briscoe, TX) and the visiting Miami Warriors (Miami, TX), observed Fort Elliott's volleyball team top Miami by a count of 3-1.

The Cougars (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Kelton (Wheeler, TX). The Lions come into the 1A Region I District 1 outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Kelton defeated Wildorado (Wildorado, TX), 3-0, in a league outing.

With the loss, Miami drops to 8-12 on the campaign. The Warriors host Shamrock (Shamrock, TX) to clash with the Irish in a 1A Region I District 1 outing on Saturday, September 28. The Irish come into the outing with a record of 6-4. Shamrock won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Darrouzett (Darrouzett, TX)
