Colorado High School Volleyball - Montrose over Fruita Monument

The Montrose Red Hawks (Montrose, CO) volleyball knocked off the host Fruita Monument Wildcats (Fruita, CO), 3-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Red Hawks now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Durango for a 4A/5A Southwestern bout on Friday, September 27. Montrose will clash with a Demons team coming off a 3-1 league win over Grand Junction (Grand Junction, CO). The Demons record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Fruita Monument drops to 7-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO) to clash with the Warriors in a 4A/5A Southwestern bout on Thursday, September 26. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 1-7. Grand Junction Central lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Montrose (Montrose, CO)
