In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Greenback Cherokees volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Tennessee School for the Deaf Vikings.
The Cherokees (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Washburn (Washburn, TN). The Pirates enter the A District 2 challenge with a 12-14 record. In their last challenge, Washburn beat Jellico (Jellico, TN), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Vikings meet the Cosby Eagles (Cosby, TN) in a A District 2 challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Tennessee School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 3-2 league win over Eagleton College & Career Academy (Maryville, TN).
