The Grenada Chargers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Winona Tigers to 1 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Chargers now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Saltillo for a Class 6A Region 1 outing on Thursday, September 26. Grenada will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league win over South Panola (Batesville, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 6-13.

With the loss, Winona drops to 12-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Amanda Elzy (Greenwood, MS) to play the Panthers in a Class 3A Region 3 outing on Thursday, September 26. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 3-7. Amanda Elzy won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Coahoma County (Clarksdale, MS)
