North Carolina High School Volleyball - Northwest Guilford can't hold off Grimsley

In Tuesday's league match, the Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) volleyball squad tipped the host Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Whirlies battle the Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A match, on Wednesday, September 25. Grimsley will attempt to move on its 16-3 season record. The Hornets go into the game with a 5-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC).

The Vikings (5-10) will now prepare for their game against Page (Greensboro, NC). The Pirates go into the Metro 4A game with a 4-9 record. In their last game, Page was edged by Western Alamance (Elon, NC), 3-0, in a non-league game.
