In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Minot Magicians volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Jamestown Bluejays.

The Magicians (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mandan (Mandan, ND). The Braves enter the A - West Region challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Mandan got by St. Mary's Central (Bismarck, ND), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bluejays meet the Turtle Mountain Braves (Belcourt, ND) in a A - West Region challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Jamestown will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Braves enter the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Bismarck (Bismarck, ND).
