The Port Gibson Blue Waves topped the host Jefferson County Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Blue Waves face the South Pike Eagles (Magnolia, MS) in a Class 3A Region 7 game, on Thursday, September 26. Port Gibson will attempt to advance on its 10-3 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 6-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to Franklin County (Meadville, MS).

The Tigers (0-11) will now prepare for their game against Natchez (Natchez, MS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 1-11 record. In their last game, Natchez went down by South Jones (Ellisville, MS), 3-0, in a league game.
