The Juniata Valley Hornets volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Southern Huntingdon County Rockets to 2 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hornets now have a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Union for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 26. Juniata Valley will play a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to West Branch (Morrisdale, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Southern Huntingdon County drops to 8-5 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Williamsburg (Williamsburg, PA) to play the Blue Pirates in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 26. The Blue Pirates come into the outing with a record of 3-5.
