In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Ka'u Trojans volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Kea'au Cougars.

The Trojans (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Christian Liberty Academy (Kea'au, HI). The Canefire come into the Big Island I challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, Christian Liberty Academy lost by Laupahoehoe (Laupahoehoe, HI), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars play the Kamehameha Hawai'i Warriors (Kea'au, HI) in a Big Island I challenge, on Friday, September 27. Kea'au will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 14-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Waiakea (Hilo, HI).
