Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Wayne Valley Indians (Wayne, NJ) and the host Kennedy Knights (Paterson, NJ), observed Wayne Valley's volleyball team top Kennedy by a tally of 2-0.

The Indians (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Passaic Valley (Little Falls, NJ). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Passaic Valley was beaten by Fair Lawn (Fair Lawn, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Knights meet the Eastside Ghosts (Paterson, NJ) in a North Jersey Tri-County B contest, on Wednesday, September 25. Kennedy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Ghosts enter the contest with a 1-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ).
