The La Quinta Aztecs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Orange Panthers to 1 in the Aztecs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Aztecs now have a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Katella for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 25. La Quinta will play a Knights team coming off a 3-2 league win over Santa Ana (Santa Ana, CA). The Knights record now stands at 10-18.

With the loss, Orange drops to 2-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Saddleback (Santa Ana, CA) to play the Roadrunners in a Freelance outing on Thursday, September 26. The Roadrunners come into the outing with a record of 6-3. Saddleback lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Bolsa Grande (Garden Grove, CA)
