The Lafayette Commodores prevailed the host New Hope Trojans volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Commodores confront the Oxford Chargers (Oxford, MS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 1. Lafayette will attempt to advance on its 19-10 season record. The Chargers enter the game with a 17-11 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Brandon (Brandon, MS).

The Trojans (13-19) will now prepare for their game against Corinth (Corinth, MS). The Warriors enter the Class 5A Region 1 game with a 9-24 record. In their last game, Corinth gained a win over West Point (West Point, MS), 3-0, in a league game.
