In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Leslie County Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Pineville Mountain Lions.

The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Perry County Central (Hazard, KY). The Commodores come into the District 54 challenge with a 9-8 record. In their last challenge, Perry County Central beat Lee County (Beattyville, KY), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mountain Lions play the Red Bird Cardinals (Beverly, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Pineville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record.
