The Tunstall Trojans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Mecklenburg County Phoenix to 0 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now have a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to George Washington for a Piedmont outing on Wednesday, September 25. Tunstall will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-8.

With the loss, Mecklenburg County drops to 5-5 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to Bassett (Bassett, VA) to play the Bengals in a Piedmont outing on Thursday, September 26. The Bengals come into the outing with a record of 5-7. Bassett won 4-1 in their recent league outing against Halifax County (South Boston, VA)
