Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Mid Peninsula Wolverines (Rock, MI) and the visiting North Central Jets (Powers, MI), observed Mid Peninsula's volleyball team top North Central by a tally of 3-0.

The Wolverines (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Big Bay de Noc (Cooks, MI). The Black Bears enter the Freelance contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Big Bay de Noc beat Beaver Island (Beaver Island, MI), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Jets meet the Rapid River Rockets (Rapid River, MI) in a Skyline contest, on Thursday, September 26. North Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Rockets enter the contest with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Munising (Munising, MI).
