The Nelson County Cardinals topped the visiting Washington County Commanders volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Cardinals confront the Bardstown Tigers (Bardstown, KY) in a District 19 game, on Thursday, September 26. Nelson County will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 5-8 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Green County (Greensburg, KY).

The Commanders (4-11) will now prepare for their game against North Hardin (Radcliff, KY). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 10-15 record. In their last game, North Hardin gained a win over John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY), 3-0, in a league game.
