The Wolverines go into the game with a 11-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA).

The Tigers (8-12) will now prepare for their game against Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA). The Midgets go into the non-league game with a 6-10 record. In their last game, Estherville Lincoln Central was dropped by Storm Lake (Storm Lake, IA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
