In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Young Women's College Prep Griffins volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Rochester Academy Racers.

The Griffins (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Monroe (Rochester, NY). The Red Jackets come into the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Monroe lost by School of the Arts (Rochester, NY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Racers play the Bishop Kearney Kings (Rochester, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Rochester Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Kings come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Aquinas Institute (Rochester, NY).
