Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Saltillo Tigers (Saltillo, MS) and the host South Panola Tigers (Batesville, MS), observed Saltillo's volleyball team top South Panola by a count of 3-0.

The Tigers (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Grenada (Grenada, MS). The Chargers enter the Class 6A Region 1 contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Grenada notched a victory over Winona (Winona, MS), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tigers meet the Center Hill Mustangs (Olive Branch, MS) in a Class 6A Region 1 contest, on Thursday, September 26. South Panola will attempt to move on its 0-20 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 9-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS).
