In Tuesday's league challenge, the host West Charlotte Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the West Mecklenburg Hawks.

The Lions (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Olympic (Charlotte, NC). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 3-15 record. In their last challenge, Olympic lost by Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hawks meet the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) in a Queen City 3A/4A challenge, on Thursday, September 26. West Mecklenburg will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Chambers (Charlotte, NC).
