Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC) and the visiting Stall Warriors (Charleston, SC), observed James Island's volleyball team top Stall by a count of 2-0.
The Trojans (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ashley Ridge (Summerville, SC). The Swamp Foxes go into the AAAAA Region 8 battle with a 0-11 record. In their last battle, Ashley Ridge dropped by Battery Creek (Beaufort, SC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Warriors now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Summerville for a AAAAA Region 8 battle on Monday, September 29. Stall will encounter a Green Wave squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Ashley Ridge (Summerville, SC). The Green Wave record now stands at 22-5.
