Indiana High School Flag Football - Carroll can't hold off Homestead

Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN) followers went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team tip the host Carroll Chargers (Fort Wayne, IN), 26-20 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Homestead advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN) to play the Vikings in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 0-1.
The Chargers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host East Noble for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 30. Carroll will play a Knights squad coming off a 32-13 non-league loss to DeKalb (Waterloo, IN). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.
