The Gwynn Park Yellowjackets football squad (Brandywine, MD), was nudged 20-14 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD)

The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record.

Next up, the Yellowjackets encounter the Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 4. Gwynn Park will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 20-8 non-league win over Crossland (Temple Hills, MD).
