In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Cumberland Clippers soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Tolman Tigers.
With the triumph, Cumberland advances its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Clippers travel to Moses Brown (Providence, RI) to clash with the Quakers in a non-league test on Friday, September 26. The Quakers come into the test with a record of 1-3.
The Tigers now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30.
