The Chatham Central Bears volleyball squad (Bear Creek, NC), was edged 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC)

With the win, North Moore improves its record to 7-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC) to meet the Jets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 25. The Jets enter the challenge with a record of 1-14. Jordan-Matthews lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC)

The Bears now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop McGuinness for a test on Tuesday, September 30. Chatham Central will face a Villains squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to North Stokes (Danbury, NC). The Villains record now stands at 8-5.
