In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Whitney Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Granite Bay Grizzlies.

The Wildcats (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Rocklin (Rocklin, CA). The Thunder come into the challenge with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Rocklin went down by Davis Sr. (Davis, CA), 2-0, in a league test.

The Grizzlies now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Del Oro for a test on Monday, September 29. Granite Bay will face a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Folsom (Folsom, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 8-4.
