In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Los Gatos Wildcats volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Homestead Mustangs.
The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA). The Vikings come into the game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Palo Alto was edged by Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA), 2-1, in a league game.
The Mustangs (5-9) will now prepare for their game against Milpitas (Milpitas, CA). The Trojans go into the game with a 12-3 record. In their last game, Milpitas nudged King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
