Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL) and the visiting Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL), observed Maine West's volleyball team top Maine East by a tally of 2-0.

The Warriors (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Niles North (Skokie, IL). The Vikings enter the contest with a 0-2 record.

Next, the Blue Demons meet the Resurrection Bandits (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 27. Maine East will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Bandits come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 2-1 league win over DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL).
