North Carolina High School Soccer - Alexander Central knocks off St. Stephens

In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Alexander Central Cougars soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 win over the St. Stephens Indians.
The Cougars (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against McDowell (Marion, NC). The Titans enter the Northwestern 6A/7A outing with a 4-2 record. In their last test, McDowell South Caldwell (Hudson, NC), 2-2, in a league test.
The Indians now sport a 0-10 record. They take the field next when they host Freedom for a Northwestern 6A/7A test on Monday, September 29. St. Stephens will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Patton (Morganton, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 3-8.
