North Carolina High School Soccer - Sugar Creek Charter knocks off Carolina International

In Wednesday's league contest, the Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) soccer team routed the visiting Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), by a count of 10-1.

Next, the Wildcats face the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) in a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A contest, on Wednesday, October 1. Sugar Creek Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record.

The Comets (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Patriots go into the Catawba River 1A/2A/3A challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, Piedmont Community Charter was overwhelmed by Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy (Mooresboro, NC), 2-0, in a league challenge.
