Central Academy of Technology & Arts Cougars (Monroe, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC), 6-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Central Academy of Technology & Arts advances its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Scotland (Laurinburg, NC) to clash with the Fighting Scots in a non-league test on Friday, September 26. The Fighting Scots come into the test with a record of 7-5. Scotland lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC)
The Yellow Jackets now have a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Anson for a Rocky River 4A/5A test on Monday, September 29. Forest Hills will clash with a Bearcats team coming off a 5-0 league loss to West Stanly (Oakboro, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 1-7.
