The Eagles now possess a 11-0 record. They play next when they travel to Crystal Lake South for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 27. Taft will play a Gators squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL). The Gators record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Lane Tech moves to 12-1 on the year. The Champions host Steinmetz College Prep (Chicago, IL) to play the Silver Streaks in a non-league bout on Monday, September 29. The Silver Streaks go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Steinmetz College Prep won 4-1 in their recent non-league game against Catalyst-Maria (Chicago, IL)
