Georgia High School Softball - Model bounces Coosa

September 24, 2025: Rome, GA 30165

The Model Blue Devils softball team scored 17 runs and held the host Coosa Eagles to 0 in the Blue Devils non-league win on Wednesday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Temple for a 1A D-I Region 6 battle on Thursday, September 25. Model will confront a Tigers team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Bremen (Bremen, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-14.

With the loss, Coosa moves to 3-14 on the season. The Eagles host Rome (Rome, GA) to confront the Wolves in a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. The Wolves go into the challenge with a record of 8-12. Rome won 7-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Douglas County (Douglasville, GA)
