In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Doherty Memorial Highlanders volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Abby Kelley Foster Bears.

The Highlanders (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against University Park (Worcester, MA). The enter the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, University Park beat St. Bernard's Central Catholic (Fitchburg, MA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bears meet the North Polar Bears (Worcester, MA) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 26. Abby Kelley Foster will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Polar Bears go into the test with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Bartlett (Webster, MA).
