The Avoca Central Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Canisteo-Greenwood Chargers to 1 in the Tigers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now have a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Campbell-Savona for a Section 5 Steuben County game on Friday, September 26. Avoca Central will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Addison (Addison, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 4-3.

The Chargers (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Hammondsport (Hammondsport, NY). The Lakers go into the Section 5 Steuben County game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Hammondsport went down by Arkport Central (Arkport, NY), 3-0, in a league game.
