In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Gainesville Cardinals volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Battlefield Bobcats.

The Cardinals (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Osbourn (Manassas, VA). The Eagles come into the Cedar Run challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Osbourn beat Brooke Point (Stafford, VA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats play the Osbourn Park Yellowjackets (Manassas, VA) in a Cedar Run challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Battlefield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Patriot (Nokesville, VA).
