California High School Volleyball - Serrano over Burroughs

Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Serrano Diamondbacks (Phelan, CA) and the visiting Burroughs Burros (Ridgecrest, CA), observed Serrano's volleyball team top Burroughs by a count of 3-0.

The Diamondbacks (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hesperia (Hesperia, CA). The Scorpions enter the Mojave River contest with a 21-1 record. In their last contest, Hesperia notched a victory over Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA), 3-1, in a league battle.

The Burros now own a 21-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sultana for a Mojave River battle on Monday, September 29. Burroughs will encounter a Sultans squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Apple Valley (Apple Valley, CA). The Sultans record now stands at 14-5.
