North Carolina High School Volleyball - Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy overwhelmed by Cherryville

The Cherryville Ironmen beat the host Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons volleyball team by a tally of 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Ironmen now have a 10-5 record. They play next when they host East Gaston for a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A outing on Thursday, September 25. Cherryville will play a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 15-4.

With the loss, Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy drops to 11-5 on the campaign. The Gryphons host NCSSM: Morganton (Morganton, NC) to play the Dragons in a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A outing on Thursday, September 25. The Dragons come into the outing with a record of 7-6. NCSSM: Morganton won 3-0 in their recent league game against Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy (Huntersville, NC)
