The Lions (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Encore Arts & Media College Prep (East Los Angeles, CA). The The Wave enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Encore Arts & Media College Prep beat Brio College Prep (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Bethel Baptist Warriors (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, October 10. Eastside Christian will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
