In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Franklinton Demons volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Varnado Wildcats.

The Demons (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sarah T. Reed (New Orleans, LA). The Olympians enter the non-league challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, Sarah T. Reed was beaten by St. Mary's Academy (New Orleans, LA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Lutheran Gryphons (Metairie, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Varnado will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Gryphons go into the test with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA).
