With the win, Gray Stone Day improves its record to 7-9 on the season. The Knights host North Stanly (New London, NC) to face the Comets in a Yadkin Valley 2A/3A challenge on Thursday, September 25. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 10-9. North Stanly won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC)

Next, the Cavaliers meet the Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 2A/3A challenge, on Monday, September 29. North Rowan will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Union Academy (Monroe, NC).
